The power of plants!

I've recently discovered Boots Botanics range, after hearing about the toner spritz on one of Beauty Crush's videos. I'm so easily swayed into products by other beauty bloggers - it's ridiculous. But in this sense, I'm quite pleased!

I could have quite easily bought the whole range, but I opted for the hot cloth cleansing balm & the rosewater toning spritz. Other products from the range include cleansers, day creams, oils, eye creams, moisturisers, scrubs, wipes, masks etc, etc. Most of the products are also available for different skin types, which is great! Another great thing about this range, is - they are soo affordable!

Hot cloth cleansing balm - £5.99.

Being a cleansing balm, it's a lot different to any other sort of cleaners I have used. The balm is really quite solid within the tub, but when touched by your warm hands it just melts into this gorgeous cleanser. The aim of the game is massage the cleanser into your face and neck & then apply a muslin cloth (including within box), soaked in warm water, to your face. Doing so helps dislodge any pore-clogging impurities. I love using it! It's nice having something a little different in your daily routine.

The balm is 97% organic & contains a blend of shea butter, rosehip & jojoba oil. I have only been using it for about a week so far. & I haven't broken out - yayy! I find it leaves my skin feeling so hydrated & really plump, if you know what I mean. Oh & the smell - its kind of a herbal scent. It's pleasant & doesn't linger for ages afterwards.

Rosewater toning spritz - £3.32.

If you're big into beauty blogs & the YouTube beauty world you would definitely have heard of the caudalie beauty elixar. I wanted it sooo bad! But I just couldn't justify paying that much for a toning spritz. So, when Beauty Crush mentioned that she'd found a cheaper alternative, I was all over it! I absolutely love it.

It claims to cleanse impurities, freshen your face, visibly tighten pores & also remove the last traces of make-up. I've been using it for about 2 weeks. I haven't noticed any dramatic difference with my pores but my face  feels so much more refreshed & clean. I've been using it as a toner (after using the above cleansing balm) & also just as a refresher throughout the day. I recently went on holiday & took it with me. It was a God send in humid New York!

I definitely plan on trying some other products from their range. With such affordable prices, it would be silly not to! Have you guys tried out any of the Boots Botanics?
